Aizu Basin

A geographical basin in the Fukushima Prefecture in the Tohoku region of Japan. It is surrounded by mountains and is home to the cities of Aizu Wakamatsu and Koriyama.

Aizu Shinhachiro

A Japanese military commander who fought against the Meiji government in the Boshin War. He was known for his bravery and loyalty to the Aizu clan.

Aizu Clan

A Japanese feudal clan that ruled the Aizu domain during the Edo period. They were known for their loyalty to the Tokugawa shogunate and their resistance to the Meiji government during the Boshin War.
