A French offensive launched in July 1918 that resulted in the recapture of much of the territory that had been lost to the Germans during the Spring Offensive. The offensive was one of the most successful of the war for the Allies.

Aisne Offensive**

A series of French offensives launched in April and May 1917 against the German lines along the Aisne River in northern France. The offensives were largely unsuccessful, and resulted in heavy casualties for the French.
